1. What are the locations in which ceremonies and receptions can take place?
A: We have spacious decks overlooking the Gulf of Mexico and endless sugar-white-sand beaches, as well as a poolside location surrounded by palm trees and, of course, our elegant ballrooms.
2. How private will my beach ceremony be?
A: Although the beach is public, we count on the service of security officers who are tasked with clearing the beach and keeping your ceremony as private as possible – especially during picture time.
3. Do you have a preferred vendor list?
A: Our brides do have access to our list of suggested vendors. These professionals have been to our property many times and have a great reputation with us, as well as a wonderful rapport with our staff.
4. Do I need to hire a wedding planner?
A: Your Wedding & Special Event Manager can make recommendations for a Professional Wedding Planner if you would like. There are several very talented planners in the local area if you would like us to give you a list of referrals.
A Professional Wedding Planner is a seasoned professional that can confidently guide you through the entire wedding planning process. From engagement to the grand exit, they are your experienced guides in the world of all things weddings. Although there are levels of service you can commission with a Professional Wedding Planner, most will assist you with vendor referrals, production of a detailed check list of things to be done and when, communication with all vendors leading up to the wedding and production of a detailed wedding day timeline. A Professional Wedding Planner plot the course down the aisle and are there to answer questions along the way or handle last minute details. A Professional Wedding Planner may also help with the wedding design by offering ideas and inspiration for the perfect "look and feel" and ensure a cohesive vision.
5. How soon should I book a space at the hotel?
A: Keep in mind that May, June and October are very popular months for weddings, especially Destin beach weddings! We suggest a minimum lead time of nine months for weddings taking place during those months.
6. Do you charge a cake cutting fee?
A: We will cut and serve your cake as a complementary service, as well as allow you to bring in a cake from an outside vendor.
7. Is the setup and breakdown fee included?
A: We will provide you a customized proposal, which always includes complimentary setup and breakdown time.

9. What does the ceremony fee and reception fee cover?
A: The ceremony fee includes all of the chairs in ceremony area. The reception fee covers all of the tables, chairs, white tablecloths, white napkins, bartenders, silverware, and china, as well as setup and breakdown time.
10. Are you allowed to bring your own centerpieces in?
A: Yes, you're allowed to bring the centerpieces of your choice and work with your own florist.
11. Are your menus flexible?
A: Our list of suggested menus includes our most popular offerings, but we're also able to customize a menu to fit your taste.
12. Are you able to work within budgets?
A: Yes, we can offer some great incentives depending on the time of year and day of the week of your Destin Beach wedding. Sunday and Friday weddings are becoming more common these days, especially when they take place at a resort like ours, where your guests are generally also on vacation.
13. What will my guests do while we are taking photographs?
A: A very popular suggestion is having our butlers serve hors d'oeuvres and cocktails during this time, as you and your wedding party have your pictures taken.
14. Do you offer any sound packages so the guests can hear us when we say our vows?
A: We have an excellent onsite audiovisual team that can enhance your ceremony or reception needs to ensure your guests can hear those special words.
