With a variety of meeting spaces and additional resort amenities, it’s easy to set up interesting and unique breaks for your guests between sessions.

Here are some of our favorite event planning tips to make the most of every coffee break:

Enjoy the Sunshine

This one is a no-brainer. The best part of having a meeting on the Gulf Coast of Florida is the beach! Our resort features two expansive pool decks right along the beach, with amazing views of the emerald-green waters. Our staff is happy to set up a coffee station on The Veranda (next to our main pool deck) so your guests can enjoy rejuvenate with caffeine and sunshine at the same time. Spending time outside between sessions is a great break for the mind and soul.

Get Active

Coffee breaks are also a great time to amp up the physical activity level. Our recreation staff can help you set up a variety of beach games for guests to enjoy between sessions — like a quick beach volleyball match or other team building activities to help hone communication and critical thinking skills. A little bit of physical activity is a great way to re-activate the mind and help conference and event-goers get make the most of educational opportunities at the conference and increase their creative brainstorming skills.

Networking Opportunities

Coffee breaks are also an opportune time for your guests to network with other conference-goers. And we have a variety of great spaces to accommodate! Our ballrooms and meeting rooms can easily convert into networking spaces — whether you’d like vendors to set up booths and exhibits, or allow conference-goers to reserve tables for meetings they set up on their own. Beyond our dedicated meeting space, Sandcastles Lounge is a great, laid back atmosphere for networking. Guests to set up networking meetings (tables and lounge seating available), or get a small group together to chat while they watch a game on our big screen TV.
