Destin Fishing Rodeo

The Destin Fishing Rodeo began in May 1948 to bring people to the Emerald Coast. Destin soon became known as a summer tourist destination and “The World’s Luckiest Fishing Village.” Today, the Destin Fishing Rodeo stands as a monthlong fishing tournament featuring daily weigh-ins and friendly competition for saltwater anglers of all ages.
