Traveling solo? No problem! Whether you’re visiting our Gulf Coast resort for a conference sans coworkers or enjoying a beach vacation by yourself, Hilton Sandestin Beach has plenty of amenities that are perfect for a party of one. Plus, there are tons of things to do in Destin (outlet malls, dining, etc.) and throughout the other nearby beach communities.
Hit the Beach
Let our recreation team cater to your party of one with a full beach set-up, with everything you need for a day in the sun. We’ll provide a chair, umbrella and towel so you can relax in the sand and enjoy the beautiful beach at our Gulf Coast resort. Catch some rays as you nap on the beach or take some time to read a book or magazine, uninterrupted and unhurried.
Dining Options
When traveling solo, you don’t always want to deal with the pomp and circumstance of a traditional sit-down dinner. Instead, cozy up to the bar at Sandcastles Lounge and enjoy a variety of casual lunch and dinner fare including flatbread pizzas and burgers. Or grab a stool at Hadashi Sushi Bar and watch our sushi chef build your dinner right before your eyes. Prefer to dine in your pajamas (no judgement!)? The in-room dining menu at our Gulf Coast resort is perfect for a private meal, any time of day.
Shop Destin’s Best Outlet Malls
Set out on a shopping trip while you’re in town—a perfect activity for the solo traveler. Our complimentary shuttle service will drive you to and from some of the area’s best shopping destinations, including Silver Sands Premium Outlets in Destin (ask about our exclusive shopping passes, available for all guests!) and nearby Village of Baytowne Wharf. Peruse the racks at well-known brands like Adidas, Banana Republic, Brooks Brothers, and Coach—to name a few—or find a unique treasure at Artful Soap Co. or Sandestin Clothing Company.

Want to explore a bit more? There are plenty of things to do in Destin and other nearby communities like South Walton. Drive through scenic South Walton on nearby 30A and uncover the beautiful beach towns dotted along the coast—a short drive away from our Gulf Coast resort. Each town boasts its own vibe, with unique shopping and dining options. Visit Grayton Beach and pop into galleries featuring work by local artists, or cruise through Alys Beach for a glimpse at the stunning Bermuda-inspired architecture.
